I asked each of the participating teens to answer the prompt: What is your favorite part of the retreat so far?IMG_6765

“For me, Worldschooling is still a fairly new concept. It’s one of the reasons I was attracted to Project World School in the first place. One of the things that always kept me from pursuing this unschooling ‘thing’ was the fear of isolation. I’ve never been the most talkative person, but people excite me. Relationships and meaningful conversations are just one of the many things that drive me. So now I’ve found this place, this community of people. People I can talk to and interact with that are going through or have been through similar life experiences as me. That for me, has been the best part of this whole retreat. Connecting with people who after only two weeks can understand the most important parts of me.”  -Sydney Veitinger
