I asked each of the participating teens to answer the prompt: What is your favorite part of the retreat so far?

“It’s hard for me to pic12733447_1139138562764025_4966907619522497450_n (1)k a favorite moment from the retreat so far. But if I had to pick one then I guess it would be when a Mayan elder who lives at the Punta Laguna nature reserve was performing a ceremony to give us safe passage through the jungle. I thought it was really amazing and I’m so grateful that I got to be a part of it. And then we proceeded to see a bunch of monkeys, go zip lining and even climb down into a really awesome cenote. It was a really great day.”
