Greece– Modern Mythology -17 Day Teen Learning Community

Greece Modern Mythology

May 25 – June 11, 2026

2026 Greece Teen Retreat — 17 Days of Myth, History & Discovery

Step into a living tapestry of myth, history, and culture in the heart of the Mediterranean. Over 17 unforgettable days, our learning community will journey through Greece’s ancient landscapes, from the olive groves and vineyards of the Peloponnese to the sparkling shores of Pelion and the iconic streets of Athens. Together, we’ll bring mythology to life through storytelling and theater, uncover secrets of archaeology in legendary sites like Mycenae, Epidavros, and the Acropolis, and immerse ourselves in traditional Greek arts, food, and community.

More than just a trip, this is a temporary learning-community where travel, connection, and personal growth intertwine. You’ll kayak through turquoise waters, hike mythic trails, join hands in farm-to-table cooking, and explore both the timeless and modern faces of Greece. Along the way, you’ll form friendships that feel like family, gain fresh perspectives on the world, and discover your own place within it.

Join us in Greece and let the stories of the past inspire the story you’re writing for your future.

05 PACKING LIST

You’ll be gone for over two weeks and for those of you who haven’t traveled for long periods of time, we’ve prepared this list in case you might need some assistance with deciding what you should pack. So here it is, our packing list ‘suggestions‘!

Our recommendation to you is not to over do it. You’ll have to haul everything you pack around initially, and there are weight restrictions through all airlines. Also, keep in mind you will be living in shared space. There will be laundry available, and you will be able to purchase replacement shampoos, lotions, etc. during the trip, so no need to haul around ‘family size’ bottles of anything.

Remember, we will be moving from Spring into Summer and each region can bring it’s own weather so in the case of this trip, “layers are the key”.

NOTE: Remember the list below is a suggested list! Feel free to modify, based on your own needs.
