During this 22-day temporary learning community retreat, you are invited to immerse yourself into the culture, customs, history and traditions of Mexico. Even though the country is vast, our route will allow us to experience the coastal region and many of the conservation efforts, the jungle with its preserved wildlife, history through the ancient sites built by the Mayan culture and later occupied.

The 2016 Cusco & Sacred Valley Retreat is a 25-day “temporary learning-community”, utilizing the landscape and culture of Cusco and the Sacred Valley as a means for immersive discovery in history, art, archaeology, mysticism, and science. Project World School is not a typical study abroad program as it will take advantage of the power of a learning-community to produce collaborative goals, knowledge acquisition, personal development, and changes in global perspectives.
During this 27-day temporary learning community retreat, you are invited to immerse yourself deep within the culture and customs of a the Wales countryside. Build community while working on a sustainable, organic farm, living sustainably, in balance with the earth and her gifts. In partnership with our host, a high-producing small scale organic farm, we will build a small roundhouse (cob house), work the fields, plant and harvest and learn the principles of sustainability. Together, we will get dirty, tend bees, forage for wild food, cook fantastic fresh meals harvested by our community while being inspired by the great tradition of Welsh storytelling.
Thailand is a wondrous kingdom, featuring Buddhist temples, exotic wildlife, and spectacular islands. Along with a fascinating history and a unique culture that includes delectable Thai food and massage, Thailand features a modern capital city, and friendly people who epitomize Thailand’s “land of smiles” reputation. During Project World School’s 24-day temporary learning community retreat, we will immerse ourselves deep within the culture and customs and build community, learn to cook the flavors of Thai cuisine and find peace through yoga and Tai Chi. This trip promises to be a holistic educational experience as we take part in adventure, culture, service, and encompassing both mind/body activities.
