A native Peruvian Quechua speaker founded, Alternative Inca Trails, alternative travel specialist is a new in the Cusquenian tourism, to offer new alternative treks and cultural tours.

South American Explorers is a non-profit organization providing travel information through Clubhouses across the continent- Founded in 1999, he Cusco clubhouse is the second youngest of our clubhouses however, due to its close proximity to Machu Picchu, the Inca Trail and the Peruvian Amazon, it is one of the busiest.

Built on the grounds of an old hacienda the club is a great place to relax, meet fellow travelers, grab a homemade cookie, find out more about the many local trails from the area or even plan your onward travels using our extensive library of travel guides.

AMAUTA Spanish School

AMAUTA Spanish School in South America offers the unique opportunity to study and learn the Spanish language while immersed in Latin American culture. Pacific Whale Foundation’s mission is to protect our oceans through science and advocacy.
We accomplish this through our ongoing marine research, education and conservation programs.Through our ocean eco-adventure cruises, we have educated nearly 3.5 million people about the marine environment, while raising needed funds to support vital whale and dolphin research studies, educational programs for children and adults, as well as important conservation programs, including our fight to stop commercial whaling. Project World School is partnering with Dr. Cristina Paola Castro A., Ph.D., B.A. of the Ecuador research facility.

The Hosteria La Gondola is the site for our Ecuador 10 day Family retreat in Ecuador. The property and the site are beautiful and the staff has been so accommodating during our planning stages. We are grateful for all of their help and look forward to returning to their property for future retreats. If you are planning a trip to Montanita, Ecuador, we recommend staying there!

During our 12 day teen retreat in Ecuador, our group will be staying at Arrels Hostal, a rustic surfers paradise. Located outside of the main pueblo, we will enjoy the serenity of the jungle-like surroundings, comfortable hammocks and the hospitality of it’s owner, who is also one of our two surf instructors.

 

Kaffeina – Montañita

Kaffeina strives to create healthy and tasty vegetarian meals. They cook using olive oil, real butter, Bolivian rock crystal salt and organic greens. Their food is delicious and Gaby and Kim are unschooling parents who will also be participating in the retreat.
